Neo Ranga was an anime series that first premiered on April 6, 1998. It was a blend of adventure, horror, and supernatural themes, set in the late 1990s. The story was about an ancient god named Ranga, who awakened on a remote island in the South Pacific. Three sisters living in Tokyo—Minami, Ushio, and Yuuhi Shimabara—discovered they had inherited control of the island and the mighty god. When Ranga appeared in Tokyo, it triggered a series of conflicts involving those who sought to destroy it and others who wanted to harness its power.
The cast included Kouki Miyata as Joel, Yuuko Sumitomo as Minami Shimabara, Yuko Miyamura as Ushio Shimabara, and Eri Sendai as Yuuhi Shimabara.
