Privacy Policy

isitback is operated by Intelligent Sands LLC. We try to collect as little data as possible. This page describes everything we do and do not collect.

The website (isitback.com)

The site is a static catalog. Browsing it does not require an account, login, or any personal information.

Cookies: we set no first-party cookies.
Server logs: Amazon CloudFront and our origin server keep standard access logs (IP address, request URL, user-agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained at most 30 days.
Analytics: none.
Ads: we serve ads via Google AdSense. Google may set cookies and use identifiers as described in Google's privacy policy. Ads are not personalized to anything we know about you — we do not pass any user data to Google.

The iOS app does not require a login and never asks for your name, email, phone number, or location. There are no accounts.

We do collect the following, only for the purposes listed:

Anonymous device identifier. The first time you launch the app, it generates a random UUID and stores it in your iOS Keychain. We use it to route push notifications to your device. It cannot be reversed to identify you, and we do not link it to any other personal information.
Apple Push Notification token (APNs). If you tap "Notify me" on a show, we store your APNs token together with the device UUID and the show ID on our servers (Amazon DynamoDB). We use this strictly to send you a push notification when that show returns, and for nothing else. Apple may rotate the token at any time; we update our copy when iOS notifies us.
Subscription list. The list of show IDs you've asked to be notified about. Stored locally on your device and on our servers (so you can re-subscribe quickly if you reinstall).
Watchlist. The list of shows you've bookmarked. Stored only on your device. Not sent to our servers.

We do not sell or share data with anyone.
We do not use third-party analytics or trackers in the iOS app.
We do not advertise inside the iOS app.
We do not collect device location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other sensitive iOS data.
We do not link any data to your Apple ID, email, or any account.

To erase everything we hold about you:

App data on your device: delete the app from your iPhone or iPad.
Server data (subscriptions): turn off "Notify me" for every show in the app, or email contact@isitback.com with the device UUID and we'll delete it from our database within 7 days.

If this policy ever changes, the "Updated" date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
