Gakkou no kaidan was an action, adventure, horror anime that premiered in 2000. It followed Satsuki Manshita and her younger brother Keiichirou as they moved from Tokyo to their mother's hometown. Soon after arriving, they discovered that the old abandoned school near their new home was haunted by demons and evil spirits. Initially reluctant to get involved, their concern grew when their family cat, Kaya, was taken by a demon. To protect their town, Satsuki, Keiichirou, and their friends Momoko, Leo, and Hajime formed a team to fight the supernatural threats.
The episodes had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes each.
