Dragon Drive was an anime series that premiered in 2002. It was a science-fiction and adventure show centered around a virtual reality game where players control dragons. The story followed Oozora Reiji, a laid-back teenager known for his tardiness, who became involved in the game after his childhood friend Yukino Maiko invited him to participate. The game was set in a secret underground facility run by the corporation Rion, which housed the most advanced virtual reality technology.
