Early in the series, Nadia and Jean were pursued by jewel thieves for a blue pendant she possessed, but they later joined forces with Captain Nemo and his submarine, the Nautilus, to fight against the villains seeking world domination. The story involved uncovering Nadia's hidden family ties, exploring the powers of the blue pendant, and revealing the secret origins of Nadia herself.
The cast included Noriko Hidaka as Jean, Yoshino Takamori as Nadia, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Sanson, Kumiko Takizawa as Grandis, Toshiharu Sakurai as Hanson, and Akio Ohtsuka as Captain Nemo.
