The show was an anime series that premiered in 1999. It was a comedy and adventure series set in a future where all computers were supported by a single global network called COMNET. The story followed Yui, an average schoolgirl who, after a lab accident, was approached by IR, a corrector computer program in the form of a raccoon, who tasked her with saving COMNET from a rogue AI named Grosser. Despite her lack of computer skills, Yui needed to find and earn the trust of seven other corrector programs and locate Professor Inukai, the creator of COMNET, to prevent Grosser from taking over the world.
The show had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode and spanned two seasons, totaling 52 episodes.
