Kobato was an anime series that told the story of a sweet and naive girl named Kobato Hanato. She had a contract to fill a mysterious bottle with people's "healed hearts" before the end of the four seasons. Accompanied by Ioryogi, a spirit in the form of a dog plushie, she aimed to complete her mission while navigating her interactions with others and overcoming various challenges. The show combined elements of drama, comedy, and adventure, set in a fantastical world where spirits and humans intersect.

The cast included Kana Hanazawa as Kobato Hanato, Tomoaki Maeno as Kiyokazu Fujimoto, and Tetsu Inada as Ioryogi.
