Blassreiter was an anime series that premiered in 2008, set in a fictional Germany where biomechanical creatures called Demoniacs emerged. The show followed the efforts of the Xenogenesis Assault Team (XAT) as they fought to control the Demoniacs, who could merge with technology and became increasingly dangerous. The story focused on humans transformed into Demoniacs, some of whom used their powers for good while others sought chaos, with one destined to become the powerful Blassreiter.
The cast included Masaya Matsukaze as Joseph Jobson and Shizuka Itou as Amanda Werner.
