Freezing was an anime series that debuted in 2011. It was set in a slightly futuristic world where Earth was invaded by alien beings called the Nova. The story followed Kazuya Aoi, a Japanese boy who enrolled in a special school for genetically modified girls called Pandoras, who fought against the alien invaders. The series explored themes of action, romance, and science fiction as Kazuya trained alongside powerful female fighters and formed a partnership with Bridgette L. Satellizer, a formidable Pandora who had yet to choose a male Limiter.
The cast included Kana Hanazawa as Lana Linchen, Mamiko Noto as Bridgette L. Satellizer, and Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Kazuya Aoi.
