The story followed Tohru Kazasumi, an ordinary student who became involved in a battle between his world and a parallel universe called "Frontier S." The series depicted their struggles as they faced a mysterious disease called "Degradation" and the conflict between different realities.

The show featured a cast led by Atsushi Abe as Tohru Kazasumi, with Hisako Kanemoto as Kyouka Katagiri, and Masakazu Nishida as Kyouma Katagiri. Miyuki Sawashiro played Remy Odhner, Nana Mizuki was Kumi Minakata, and Sayaka Ohara portrayed Olga Janetine.
