Highschool of the Dead was a horror-action anime series that premiered in July 2010. It was set during a zombie apocalypse where humanity was under threat from a deadly pandemic that turned people into zombies. The story followed Takashi Komuro and his classmates at Fujimi High School as they struggled to survive amidst chaos and destruction.

The cast included Junichi Suwabe as Takashi Komuro, Marina Inoue as Rei Miyamoto, Miyuki Sawashiro as Saeko Busujima, Yukari Fukui as Shizuka Marikawa, Nobuyuki Hiyama as Kouta Hirano, and Eri Kitamura as Saya Takagi.
