V for Vendetta was a drama series based on a comic serial written by Alan Moore and illustrated by David Lloyd. The story was set in Britain in a dystopian future where the country was controlled by the fascistic Norsefire party. It followed an anarchist named V, who was known for his distinctive Guy Fawkes mask, as he sought to overthrow the government with the help of Evey Hammond, a young woman V rescued from the country's secret police.
