Is Tooter Turtle coming back?

Tooter Turtle ended on July 22, 1961, on NBC. The show was part of the King Leonardo and His Short Subjects program and aired from October 15, 1960, to July 22, 1961. It is no longer in production or scheduled to return.

Tooter Turtle was a children’s animated series that featured a turtle who often found himself in humorous trouble while taking on various roles, from a lumberjack to a taxi driver, across different historical and fantastical settings. The show was characterized by its simple animation style and recurring gag of Tooter calling upon Mr. Wizard for help to get back home after botching his jobs.

The series starred Allen Swift as Tooter Turtle and Sandy Becker as Mr. Wizard the Lizard. It was a short-lived show with one season, consisting of 40 episodes. Since the show ended over 60 years ago, it remains a nostalgic piece of early 1960s children's television, with no current plans for revival or continuation.
