Young Samson was an animated series from the 1960s that combined action, adventure, and children's entertainment. It told the story of a boy and his dog who could transform into super-powered versions of themselves to fight evil. When the boy touched his gold bracelets and said, "I need Samson power!" he became the biblical figure Samson, known for his strength, and his dog transformed into Goliath, a super lion. Instead of battling biblical enemies, they faced modern villains and monsters in their adventures.
The series featured Tim Matheson as Samson and Don Messick as Goliath.
