Tiger & Dragon was a Japanese drama and comedy series that first premiered on April 15, 2005. The series was centered around the world of Rakugo, a traditional Japanese form of storytelling and comedy with a history spanning over 400 years. The story followed two very different characters: Toraji, a Yakuza follower played by Tomoya Nagase, who visits a Rakugo performer to collect debts, and Ryuji, a talented Rakugo performer portrayed by Junichi Okada, who seeks to leave behind the old-fashioned world of Rakugo. Their paths crossed through a girl named Megumi, sparking a series of events that led to various complications.

The cast included Junichi Okada as Yanaka Ryuji, Tomoya Nagase as Yamazaki Toraji, and Toshiyuki Nishida as Yanaka Shokichi. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 46 minutes.
