Set in the southern city of Savannah, Georgia, the show was a drama series that aired from January 21, 1996, to February 24, 1997. It centered around the lives of three female friends—Reese, Lane, and Peyton—whose relationships and secrets intertwined amid a murder mystery and court case. The plot involved Lane returning to Savannah for her childhood friend's wedding, only to become entangled in a series of revelations about her inheritance, her friend's relationship issues, and the death of Travis, Reese’s fiancé.
The cast included Robyn Lively as Lane McKenzie, Jamie Luner as Peyton Richards, Shannon Sturges as Reese Burton, David Gail as Dean Collins, Paul Satterfield as Tom Massick, Beth Toussaint as Veronica Koslowsky, Ray Wise as Edward Burton, and George Eads as Nick Corelli.
