RahXephon was a science-fiction anime series that was a drama and action-oriented show which originally premiered in 2002. It was set in a world where time moved slowly and a mysterious civilization called "MU" invaded Tokyo Jupiter, unleashing strange monsters known as Dolems. The story followed 17-year-old high school student Ayato Kamina as he discovered the truth about his world, his identity, and his connection to a powerful angelic robot called RahXephon. The series explored themes of existence, conflict, and the struggle to understand one’s place in a complex universe.

The cast included Andy McAvin as Johji Futagami, Maaya Sakamoto as Reika Mishima, Jouji Nakata as Jun Kunugi, and Chikao Ōtsuka as Rikudou Shougo.
