The story followed Jinbee Tsukishima, a young man aiming to become a master swordsman like his father. To atone for a past mistake, he sought to join the Insect Magistrate Office, a group established to defend the land from the insect hordes. During his journey, Jinbee met Haru, a young woman managing her family's tea house, and was compelled to use his sword to save her from danger. His bravery earned him a place in the Magistrate Office, and the series focused on his efforts to rid Edo of the insect menace.

The cast included Jun Fukuyama as Nagatomimaru, Kenn as Jinbee Tsukishima, Mamoru Miyano as Kotori Matsunohara, Megumi Han as Mushibugyō, and Satomi Akesaka as Haru. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes per episode.
