Is Murai no Koi coming back?

Murai no Koi ended on May 25, 2022, on TBS and Paravi.

This Japanese romantic comedy series from 2022 was about Tanaka Ayano, a teacher known as "Iron Masked Girl, Tetsuko," who was perceived as distant by her students and colleagues. She was secretly an otaku who had fallen in love with a character from an otome game. The story took a turn when one of her students, Murai, confessed his feelings. Tanaka rejected him at first, as she had never fallen for a real person, especially not her student. However, the next day, Murai appeared with a new hairstyle and looked exactly like Hitotose, the character Tanaka admired.

The show was a blend of comedy and romance, exploring themes of love, identity, and unexpected connections. It aired for one season with a total of eight episodes, from April 6 to May 25, 2022. The narrative focused on the humorous and heartfelt interactions between the characters as they navigated their feelings and identities in a school setting.
