It was a romantic comedy anime series that first premiered on January 10, 2019. The show was based on a manga and followed the story of Fuutarou Uesugi, a poor and antisocial student who becomes a tutor for the Nakano quintuplets. Over the course of the series, Uesugi tried to improve his relationship with the girls while helping them with their studies, leading to various humorous and heartfelt moments.
The series featured a cast of six main characters, including Kana Hanazawa as Ichika Nakano, Inori Minase as Itsuki Nakano, Miki Itou as Miku Nakano, Ayana Taketatsu as Nino Nakano, Ayane Sakura as Yotsuba Nakano, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Fuutarou Uesugi.
