He was targeted by the Youi-fighting group Bansha Aratamesho, known as the Ayashi, who sought to recruit him to fight the Youi. Throughout the series, Yukiatsu encountered a woman and her son being chased by Youi, forcing him to confront a past he had tried to forget.

The series was a blend of action, horror, and historical themes, debuting in 2006. It depicted Yukiatsu’s journey as he navigated his powers and the dangers of the supernatural threats in his world.
