Face Off was a competition and elimination series that explored the world of special-effects make-up artists. Premiering in 2011, the show showcased artists using their talents to create original movie-quality characters such as aliens, hybrids, horror villains, and cyborgs. Each week, participants faced challenges involving design, sculpting, molding, and application, culminating in dramatic reveals judged by a panel of experts.
The show featured a cast led by McKenzie Westmore, along with judges Glenn Hetrick, Ve Neill, Neville Page, and Patrick Tatopoulos. It was rated 8 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
