This anime was based on a PlayStation game and was a fantasy series set in the desolate land of Filgaea. It followed the adventures of four characters—Sheyenne Rainstorm, a gunslinger with a legendary weapon called ARMs; Kiel Aromax, a scientist who appeared more suited for swordplay; Roleta Oratorio, a Crest Sorceress who used magical cards; and Mirabelle Graceland, a vampire from the Noble Red family. They traveled across the land, encountering various challenges and forming a legendary story of their own, accompanied by intelligent furry creatures named Isaac and Jerusha from the Popepi Pipepo Tribe.

The show featured a cast including Mayumi Asano as Sheyenne Rainstorm, Junpei Morita as Kiel Aronnax, Rikako Aikawa as Jerusha, Mitsuo Iwata as Isaac, Fumiko Osaka as Loretta Oratorio, and Nariko Fujieda as Mirabelle Graceland. The episodes had an approximate runtime of 20 minutes each.
