Widows was a drama series that aired from 1983 to 1995. It was based on the premise of three widows, whose husbands were killed during an armed robbery. Faced with police pressure and threats from a rival gang seeking control of their husbands' criminal enterprises, the widows decided to take charge and continue their husbands' criminal activities, with Dolly Rawlins stepping into a leadership role.
The cast included Fiona Hendley as Shirley Miller and Maureen O'Farrell as Linda Pirelli. The show was a mix of action, crime, and drama genres, and each episode had a runtime of approximately 60 minutes.
