War of Faith was a drama and action series that depicted the story of Wei Ruolai, a financial genius working as a low-level employee at the Kuomintang Central Bank between 1929 and 1934. The series was set against the backdrop of troubled times in China, following Wei's journey as he navigated confusion and hesitation about his future. Under the mentorship of Shen Tunan, and influenced by Shen Jinzhen, a Communist Party member, Wei gradually adopted communist beliefs and grew into a loyal financier leading the party’s financial efforts.

The cast included Wang Yi Bo as Wei Ruolai, Wayne Wang as Shen Tunan, Li Qin as Shen Jinzhen, and Matt William Knowles as William. The show had a runtime of 45 minutes per episode.
