UFO Baby was a comedy anime series that first premiered on March 28, 2000. It was a story about Miyu, an eighth-grade girl whose parents worked for NASA and were away in America. She was left in the care of Mr. Saionji, who later went on a year-long trip to India, leaving Miyu with his son Kanata. The plot thickened when an alien baby crash-landed in their house, and the baby started calling Miyu and Kanata Mom and Dad, while also displaying ESP powers and floating around.
The show did not specify a runtime for episodes. It was a lighthearted series blending sci-fi with comedy, set in the early 2000s, and remains a part of anime history from that period.
