This anime series from 2004 was a fantasy romance that followed the story of Kohei Morioka, a magazine photographer who traveled to Germany for an assignment. During his visit, he encountered a young vampire girl named Hazuki inside a dark German castle. Hazuki attempted to turn Kohei into her servant, but he resisted her will and instead freed her from the barrier that confined her within the castle. Upon returning to Japan, Kohei was surprised to find Hazuki living in the same country, which set the stage for their ongoing interactions.
The show was a blend of comedy, fantasy, and romance, and it explored themes of supernatural encounters and personal freedom. It was a short series with a total runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode, and it featured a cast including Chiwa Saito as Hazuki, Hiroshi Kamiya as Kohei Morioka, and other voice actors such as Jūrōta Kosugi, Michiko Neya, and Takashi Matsuyama.
