The show was a science-fiction adventure series that originally aired in 1966. It followed the efforts of scientists working on Project Tic Toc, a secret government initiative to develop a functional time tunnel beneath the Arizona desert. When the project was threatened with cancellation, Dr. Tony Newman and Dr. Doug Phillips volunteered to test the tunnel, which unexpectedly transported them through various historical events. Their unpredictable journeys placed them in dangerous situations, as they struggled to return home while their colleagues worked tirelessly to bring them back.
The series starred James Darren as Dr. Tony Newman and Robert Colbert as Dr. Douglas Phillips. It was a 60-minute show rated 7.8 on TVMaze. The first season consisted of 30 episodes, capturing the tension and drama of their time-traveling adventures during the show's run.
