About The Thing

The Thing was a science-fiction action and adventure series that was loosely based on Marvel's character of the same name. It followed the adventures of Benjy Grimm, who could transform into a large, powerful stone creature called the Thing. The series depicted his efforts to use his abilities to help others and fight villains.
The cast included Wayne Morton as Benjy Grimm and Joe Baker as The Thing. It was a short-lived series that aired in 1979 and remains a standalone part of television history.
