The series was a drama, action, and adventure show that followed John Peter McAllister, an American veteran who was the only American accepted for ninja training. He left his clan to find his daughter in America, which was considered dishonorable by the ninja, leading them to send Osaka to kill him. During his journey, McAllister met Max Keller, a young wannabe knight errant, and agreed to train him in the ways of the ninja. Together, they traveled across the U.S. in Max's van, helping those they encountered along the way.
The cast included Lee Van Cleef as John Peter McAllister, Tim Van Patten as Max Keller, and Shô Kosugi as Okasa. The show had a rating of 5.3 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of 60 minutes.
