About The Immortal
The Immortal ended on January 14, 1971, after its first season on ABC.
The series was a science-fiction action adventure that aired in 1970-1971. It followed Ben Richards, a test car driver who was immune to disease and appeared much younger than his age. When a wealthy individual received a blood transfusion from Ben, he realized Ben's unique immunity meant he could live significantly longer than an average person. This led to Ben being targeted by various parties who wanted to exploit his blood's properties. Throughout the show, Ben was constantly on the run, trying to evade those seeking to capture him while helping others he encountered along the way.
The cast included Christopher George as Ben Richards, Don Knight as Fletcher, and David Brian as Arthur Maitlan.
