The series was a comedy, adventure, and fantasy show set in an ancient time when a mysterious plague threatened a whole country covered in forests. It followed Yoshihiko, a young man chosen as a hero, who embarked on a quest to find a legendary plant capable of curing the plague and to rescue his father, Teruhiko, who had gone in search of the same plant but never returned. The story chronicled his journey through various challenges and encounters.
The cast included Haruka Kinami as Murasaki, Tsuyoshi Muro as Merebu, Shin Takuma as Danjo, Takayuki Yamada as Yoshihiko, Sato Jiro as Hotoke, and Okamoto Azusa as Hisa.
