About The Future is Wild
The Future is Wild ended on July 5, 2008. The show concluded after its first season, which aired from October 13, 2007, to July 5, 2008, on Discovery Family.
The series was a children's science-fiction program set in a radically changed Earth during a new Mega Ice Age. It followed four young people who traveled into the distant future to find a suitable new habitat for humanity. The Earth's climate was vastly different from the present, and the creatures that inhabited this future world had evolved into fantastical beings that seemed like creatures from dreams.
Each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
