Ga Ran was a tomboy who loved taekwondo and preferred trousers, while Nam Joon was considered a Mr. Perfect, focusing on his looks, intelligence, and popularity. The series depicted their rivalry that started in high school when Ga Ran caught Nam Joon giving away a sweet bun to another girl. Years later, as adults recovering from break-ups, they met again and gradually realized they were meant to be together, despite their constant bickering.

The cast included Choi Kang Hui as Han Ga Ran, Jung So Young as Hong Hye Jan, Park Kwang Hyun as Ahn Nam Joon, and Jung Chan as Yoo Kwan Ha. The show had a runtime of approximately 60 minutes per episode.
