The story centered around Ye So Rang, a con artist who falsely claimed to interpret signs from spirits, including one claiming to be the spirit of the king's late wife. Her deception led to her being brought before the king, where her lies about the spirit's presence within the palace grew increasingly audacious.

The cast included Park Joo Hyun as Ye So Rang, Kim Young Dae as King Lee Heon, and Kim Woo Suk as Officer Lee Shin Won.
