Soratobu Kouhoushitsu was a drama, comedy, and romance series that premiered in 2013. It depicted the story of Inaba Rika, a director at Teito TV Network who aspired to be a reporter since childhood. She was transferred to co-direct an evening information program, where she was tasked with interviewing members of the Self Defence Forces. The series explored her interactions with First Lieutenant Daisuke Sorai, a former fighter pilot now working in the Public Relations Department after an injury, and her efforts to regain her footing as a reporter amid her provocative behavior and personal challenges.
The cast included Yui Aragaki as Rika Inaba, Gou Ayano as Daisuke Sorai, and Kyohei Shibata as Shoji Sagizaka. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and each episode ran for 60 minutes.
