Smile PreCure! was a children's action and adventure anime series that premiered in 2012. It was set in the magical kingdom of Märchenland, where fairy tale characters lived happily until the evil emperor Pierrot invaded and sealed the Queen. To revive the Queen, a fairy named Candy searched for the Pretty Cures on Earth, who could collect the Cure Decor, the scattered power of happiness symbolized by Cure Decor. The story followed a girl who decided to help in this quest, aiming to bring a happy ending to the world.
The show had a runtime of approximately 24 minutes per episode.
