About Saint Seiya

Saint Seiya was a Japanese anime series that originally premiered in 1986. It was a science-fiction action adventure set in a mythological universe where warriors called Saints fought to protect the goddess Athena. The story followed a young fighter named Seiya, who trained to become a Saint by earning the mystical Cloth of Pegasus, and he was joined by other Saints each with their own Cloths, as they battled to defend Athena and the world from various threats.

The show featured an ensemble cast of voice actors including Tōru Furuya as Seiya, Fumiko Orikasa as Athena, and Hiroaki Miura as Hyoga. It was rated 7.3 on TVMaze and had a typical episode runtime of 25 minutes. The series was known for its action-packed episodes and its adaptation of mythological themes within a futuristic setting, spanning multiple seasons from 1986 to 2011.
