Sky High was a drama and horror series that aired in 2003 and 2004. It was centered around Izuko, the gatekeeper of the "Gate of Rancor," a mystical portal between the living world and the afterlife. The series explored her role in listening to the tragic stories of murder victims and offering them three choices regarding their afterlife: to abandon their hatred and reach paradise, to remain as spirits haunting the living, or to seek revenge and descend into hell.
The series featured Yumiko Shaku as Izuko, along with Morimoto Leo, Takahashi Mai, Kobayashi Tsubasa, Ikuji Nakamura, and Hisahiro Ogura in supporting roles. The episodes were approximately 45 minutes long.
