Dark Gathering was a Japanese anime series that premiered on July 9, 2023. It was a blend of drama, comedy, and horror that followed the story of Keitarou Gentouga, a young man with the ability to communicate with spirits. After a traumatic incident involving spirit possession during his junior high school years, he became a shut-in for over two years. Upon rejoining society as a private tutor, he met Yayoi Houzuki, a genius girl who recognized his supernatural talent. She invited him to explore haunted locations, leading them to work together capturing evil spirits.
The show had a runtime of approximately 24 minutes per episode.
