The series depicted their lives both inside and outside the marriage counseling offices, featuring a cast of talented improvisational actors and comedians who essentially scripted themselves during performances.
The cast included Chris Spencer as Devon, Fred Goss as Bill, Faith Salie as Eleanor, Brian Palermo as James, Andrea Savage as Chelsea, Nicole Randall Johnson as Alex, Herschel Bleefeld as Ethan, and Jane Edith Wilson as Connie.
