Is Samurai Sensei coming back?

Samurai Sensei ended on December 11, 2015, after its eight-episode run on TV Asahi.

It followed the story of Hanpeita Takechi, a political activist from 1865 who suddenly finds himself transported to present-day Japan. Stranded in a rural area, he struggles to understand his new surroundings while trying to find a way back to his own time. The show depicted his interactions with local villagers and his encounters with Haruka Saeki, a woman working at a nearby public office, who eventually helps him.

The cast included Ryo Nishikido as Hanpeita Takechi, Manami Higa as Haruka Saeki, and Kamiki Ryunosuke as Sakamoto Ryoma. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 50 minutes per episode.
