Romeo x Juliet was a fantasy anime series that aired in 2007. It was loosely based on William Shakespeare's play and was set in the floating continent of Neo Verona, where the Montague family had seized control and murdered the entire Capulet family except Juliet. The story followed Juliet, who had forgotten her past and was living in hiding, disguising herself as Odin and fighting as a hero of justice. Her life changed when she met Romeo Candorebanto Montague, the kind son of the ruling family, and their destinies became intertwined amid the chaos of war.
Each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
