Inu x Boku SS was a fantasy romance anime that premiered in 2012. It was a story set in the Maison de Ayakashi, a residence for humans with non-human ancestors, rumored to be haunted but actually a secure place for eccentrics. The protagonist, Ririchiyo, a socially-inept young woman, moved into the mansion to improve herself. She met Soushi, a secret service bodyguard who was assigned to protect the residents, and he asked her to make him his dog, which led to various interactions and developments throughout the series.

The cast included Rina Hidaka as Ririchiyo Shirakiin, Yuichi Nakamura as Soushi Miketsukami, and Yōko Hikasa as Nobara Yukinokouji.
