The series was an anime comedy set in a universe where a team of robot girls, inspired by Toei's Mazinger Z franchise, worked to promote the energy source "Photon Power" in Tokyo's Nerima ward. The show depicted their daily activities and battles against the "Mechanical Beast" team from the "Subterranean Empire," who aimed to steal the energy. Occasionally, the girls would also engage in fights with villains to blow off steam.
The series consisted of two seasons, with the first premiering in January 2014 and the second in May 2015. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes.
