Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne was a science-fiction anime series that first premiered on January 8, 2012. It was a story set in the seaside city of Kamogawa in Chiba prefecture, focusing on Kyouno Madoka, a high school student and member of the Jersey Club, who becomes involved in battles against extraterrestrial invaders. When a mysterious girl named Lan asked her to pilot a robot, Madoka joined forces with Lan and Muginami to defend their city using robotic vehicles called Vox.
The show featured a cast led by Kaori Ishihara as Madoka Kyouno, Ai Kayano as Muginami, and Asami Seto as Lan. Other cast members included Mamiko Noto, Yūichi Iguchi, Azumi Asakura, and Kenji Hamada.
