Is Pupa coming back?

Pupa ended on March 28, 2014, after its single season aired on Tokyo MX.

It was an anime series that premiered in 2014, blending elements of fantasy, horror, and thriller. The story focused on Utsutsu and his younger sister Yume, who was infected with the mysterious Pupa virus after seeing a red butterfly. As Yume developed grotesque wings and attacked everything around her, Utsutsu sought a way to save her, ultimately deciding to sacrifice his own body as live bait in hopes of stopping the virus.

The series featured a cast including Nobunaga Shimazaki as Utsutsu Hasegawa, Mariya Ise as the young Utsutsu, and Ibuki Kido as Yume Hasegawa, both as a child and as an adult. Mamiko Noto and Koji Yusa also played significant roles. The show had a runtime of approximately 4 minutes per episode.
