It was set in a world where Dr. Ryuichiro Koga created an android named Ryusei Tsurugi, modeled after his son, to fight against the evil forces of God Neros, who aimed to conquer Japan. The show depicted the struggle of the android as he was activated to defend humanity, following the tragic death of his creator.
