Is Macross Delta coming back?

Macross Delta ended on September 25, 2016, on MBS. The series concluded after its first season, which aired from April 3 to September 25, 2016.

Macross Delta was an anime series set in the year 2067, eight years after the events of Macross Frontier. It was a science-fiction action show that followed the Tactical Music Unit, Walkure, as they teamed up with the Valkyrie Delta Team to fight against a deadly new disease called the Var Syndrome threatening the galaxy. During an outbreak, the Walkure unit was unexpectedly attacked by the mysterious Aerial Knight Valkyrie Team from the Kingdom of the Wind, whose motives remained unclear.

The show featured a cast led by Suzuko Mimori as Freyja Wion, Asami Seto as Mirage Fallyna Jenius, Ami Koshimizu as Guynemer and Mikumo, Yūma Uchida as Immelmann and Hayate, Kaito Ishikawa as Brehm and Roid, Kiyono Yasuno as Buccaneer and Kaname, and Kenn as Con-Vaart and Bogue. The series did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode.
