Kakumeiki Valvrave was an action-packed anime series set in a futuristic world where most of humanity lived in space, thanks to the development of Dyson Sphere technology. The story was set in the year True Calendar 71, a time when the world was divided between the militaristic Dorssia Federation and the trade-focused Atlantic Rim United States, with the neutral nation of JIOR situated between them. The series followed Haruto Tokishima, a high school student living in JIOR, whose life changed dramatically when the Dorssian military invaded. Haruto encountered the mysterious humanoid weapon, Valvrave, which played a central role in the ongoing conflict and his personal journey.

The cast included Ryōta Ōsaka as Haruto Tokishima, Asami Seto as Shōko Sashinami, Ryohei Kimura as L-elf, and Haruka Tomatsu as Saki Rukino. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
